Miss Maker Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in July, 2021.

The nonprofit was created in response to an equity issue. Kids who could afford to attend high-priced, private schools had weekly access to Makerspace, science, coding and robotics. Kids who attended public school did not have access to these extra classes. Miss Maker’s founders hope to solve this problem by making STEM available to all kids regardless of how much money they have or what school they attend. We’re starting small by targeting those living on the San Mateo County coast. In the fall of 2023, Miss Maker plans to launch ranch science and engineering at a working horse ranch. Miss Maker also hopes to offer coding clinics in downtown Half Moon Bay.
